En Route to Global Occupation, Gary Kah
This book depicts a great conspiracy in which the people (pawns)of the world are lead like sheep into a satanic one world/one religion scenario. Where the European and world's elite resurrect the anti-christ through "occult" religions at the same time establishing their ubiquitous control over the world. The only way to stop this diabolical plan is of course through (say it with me now people) Jesuuuus Chriiist. Every time Mr. Kah presents evidence or a point of fact he taints it with born again rhetoric and biblical quotes as if they were a factual counterpoint This book is clearly a recruiting tool for the religious right in the same vein as the Turner Diaries are for the more radical sects of the right. It is truly a shame that world events can be manipulated and reduced to part of a christian fear campaign. I don't know which is worse, Mr. Kah's force feeding of christian belief upon government and every aspect of daily life or his representation of knowledge making him a veritable modern day Nostradamus.

Close to being right, but for the wrong reasons
Kah's premise is based on Christian fundamentalist dispensationalism, and to that extent, is inherently flawed. He does, however, provide the reader with some disturbing and accurate information about trends in modern society and world culture. He correctly describes the problem and the threat, but badly drops the ball, so to speak, with his explanation and elaboration of the "why's" and "wherefore's."

Solidly researched,very well put together.
Gary Kah really puts it together very well in his book. He takes disparate pieces of the puzzle and puts it together to show the big picture. He connects the econonomic, political, religious/New Age, and other links and puts it all together convincingly. .Sometimes the perspective of a true insider makes all the difference. Kah is truly an insider. He provides impeccable credentials, as well as thorough footnotes and documentation ofthe facts. Case closed. This is a book that insidersdont want you to read.

International Law: an important book on the subject
I read Slomanson's second edition for a college course, international law. This book introduces, defines, presents case studies, and gives the reader an overall understanding of international law. Since this is a very difficult application with much disagreement and controversy, I found this subject matter and book worthwhile. I would strongly recommend this book to interested readers of political science, international relations, international law, law in general, and for anyone who is interested in being better able to undestand or reach a better understanding of international law in the international arena. The author has achieved a feat of Herculean proportions by his extremely lucid and perspicacious analysis of the very difficult and inaccessible subject of International law. International law is next only to Qunatum Field Theory in its profundity and deep conceptual underpinnings. social security disability and the legal professional
Having represented many people in their appeal process for disability benefits for the past 13 years, I have found that understanding the Administration's maze of regulations is full time effort.After a careful review of this book, it is my opinion that it will provide invaluable information for a newcomer to Social Security Representation as well as otherswith more experience. Wolf and Prozcek did a very good job and find myself referring to this book several times each week,to make certain that I did not leave "a stone un-turned'.It is my understanding that Wolfe is an Administrative Law Judge(ALJ) and Mrs. Proszek was a senior staff attorney with the Office of Hearings and Appeals-SSA, which adds to the credibility of this book.They write the decisions.Therefore, they covered in the book exactly what they would expect of a representative to provide for there client during the appeal process and at a hearing.It is a prudent practice to fully develop your case before you step in the hearing room, follow the steps in the book and you will make a better impression on the ALJ andprovide your best effort for your client.I wish that I had a copy of this book 13 years ago! ... So you think you know your rights?
If you've ever been surprised by the ruling of a court or a judge in regards to matters whose resolution would seem obvious to the casual legal observer, then perhaps you should read this book.Kennedy and Alderman walk through each of the "rights" we are guaranteed by the Constitution and give examples of court cases and decisions that often might seem counter-intuitive.
Entertaining and Informative
I was assigned this book as supplementary reading for my AP government class, and while some of my friends didn't like it, I loved and am now re-reading it. Review of In Our Defense
This book gave a good illustration of the Bill of Rights in Action. It gave a court case to outline each of the principles in each amendment. For example the first amendment has a case for freedom of speech, press, religion, and assembly. These cases demonstrate how our laws are interpreted, how they have changed since the framers wrote the constitution, and exactly how our rights are limited. Each case also helps to define parts of each amendment that are in question. In other words, the cases are good examples of judicial decisions that help to defne our laws. I think that this book is amazing if you are in school, because it gives a very nice alternative to a textbook approach. Rather than just another boring textbook, this can be a helpful tool to teach the Bill of Rights with examples of the judicial process. Though this is a good book, I think that the Authors left out an important part of the book. It is lacking a historical background of the Bill of Rights. This book never illustrates what the framers intent was, nor does it try and communicate legal concepts. Though it may have been a good decision to leave out the legal concepts so the book would appeal to those without any legal experience, it would have been nice to at least get some information. ...
