Like most things in life this book had several good and bad aspects.We really enjoyed the diverse topics that the author explored.He wrote in depth on issues ranging from new media technologies, e-commerce, and privacy to hacking, copyright issues and indecencies.All these issues brought about some very thought provoking inquires for us as readers.We also appreciated the book's anti-commercialization stance on cyberspace.In contrast, one major drawback is the means by which the author heavily intertwined legal issues in every chapter of the book.People without a high interest for law may not appreciate the author's expertise in the field of law.Overall, we thought this book would be worth reading for anyone interested in cyberworld issues.

Book Review
Our group enjoyed reading this book and were surprised how up-to-date the book was on current events. The book was full of interesting information about the history and future of the Internet. However, we found the book cited too many law cases and legal issues regarding the Internet. The author would go into great lengths to explain something when a simple statement was all that was needed. To conclude, the author did present a book describing how communication, technology, law, and society play a major role on the Internet frontier.

Samoriski helped the reader get the overviewe by starting with the simple issues before focusing them quite deeply in each chapter. He maked the readers understand the basic of technology in the Internet that is impacted by business. Probably the first Internet Law treatise
Providing a treatise on Internet and Online Law is not easy. It is almost impossible. The range of topics to deal with includes all the main substantial law subjects and intersects with various elements ofInternational Law and Jurisdiction just to name a few. This book does itegregiously. I used it for research: the only limit is that focuses mainlyon U.S. Law (despite other countries are coming up with interestingsolutions and answers). As far as the rest is concerned, it is allpositive: updated, wide range of case law fully explained, easy to read(with at least a basic understanding of the law and the internet jargon).It also providespractical examples and solutions for those who areengaged or wish to engage in the Internet Business.
