The Bible of Environmental Law Books
This book is probally the most influential environmental law text in the nation.It is used by over 150 ABA approved law schools in the country.The reason for its influence is that it also happens to be the best written environmental law text.The beauty of this book is that it provides incredible amounts of information in a relatively easy readable format.Keep in mind this book is not an easy read, but it is certainly worth the effort.The text covers such subjects as what environmental law is to how groundwater laws are different in various parts of the country.The book also does a nice job of explaining the Federal/State battles over jurisdiction.The cases presented as illustrations to the various subjects make the text worth the purchase price alone.If you want to study environmental law or need the perfect reference text, then I heartily endorse this book.This book would make a perfect addition to any personal library for future use.

Atlas Shrugged-Lite
When it comes to conservative nonfiction, Jack Cashill is a serious heavyweight."Hoodwinked", "First Strike", and "Ron Brown's Body" are all well-researched, thoughtful exposes of alleged conspiracies and liberal scallywags."2006: The Chautauqua Rising" is his first try at fiction, and he pulls it off with aplomb.As the title would suggest, it is 2006, Al Gore is president, and "progressive" politics have run amok.Under the veil of "Is it good for the Children?", civil liberties are crushed like granola and SUVs fill the junkyards as America is molded in an image fitting of Noam Chomsky or Al Franken.Steven King watch out - these are scary thoughts indeed.
This is more than a "must read" book!
Once I started reading the book, I could not put it down, it took me less than one day to finish it. My wife has now read the book and loved it just as much as I did.
Just a note from a Local Yokel
My feelings for this book are not based solely on the story line. The story itself kept you guessing and you never knew where it was going to end up. If you're into mysteries and like to try to figure out the 'who-dunnit', then you will enjoy this book.Read more

A great book!
This is a fully accessible overview of international environmental law. It offers interesting examples of the laws' applications in a variety of environmental disaster situations, as well as an outline - even a dateline - of the history of international environmental law. It struck me while I was reading it that the style of the writing in the book made it a good starting point not only for lawyers, but for environmentalists as well. I highly recommend this book! ... Avoids controversy
I can't remember where I first saw this book reviewed and recommended, but I do remember that I couldn't check it out in the school library because one of the Range Science professors put it on reserve for his class.That intrigued me enough to just buy it.
