Poor Presentation
I was terribly disappointed in this book. I teach construction law at a community college and was assigned to use this book my first semester. I'll not use it again. The organization of the information was questionable. Many statements contained in the book were flat wrong or presented only a misrepresentative portion of a bigger picture. Many key topics were completely unaddressed. I can say that where the book is correct, the information is presented in plain English and provides the student with useable information about the basics.

Contract Book
I know I was buying the book on the cheap.Unfortunately, the binding on the book has already come loose and the pages are falling out. I realize that this is more a reflection on the publisher as opposed to the seller.

A solid, basic textbook for law students
Though the book would not take an experienced lawyer very far (the full title makes it clear that it is for students), it would be excellent for law students. I would recommend it for an introductory course on legal drafting. It covers the basics in a brief and readable way, and includes chapters on process, language, ambiguities, definitions, contract interpretation, and computer-assisted drafting.Read more

From the Horse's Mouth - Where's the Best Value
Currently a member of the Federal Acquisition workforce, I see this book covers the gamut, as we know it. Particularly impressive is its coverage of GSA. GSA is a prime Federal market research tool. This can give prospective contractors an idea of what government organizations regularly buy, and government contacts for soliciting business.
