I am in Government Contracting and this book is very informative and can be used as a ver good tool.
Needs Editing
The book is certainly packed with a lot of valuable information, and I suggest purchasing it if you plan on writing any government proposals, or managing government contracts.Just be prepared to filter through a lot of bad editing, spelling errors, sentences that make no sense, incorrect wording that render the sentence incorrect, and, at certain times, words that do not exist.For example, the word "definitized" appears many times; and I don't think the government has ever "estopped" invoking ceiling price limitations.

Great single source for U.S. patent prosecution
I graduated law school with honors in intellectual property. I have had the opportunity to read a number of textbooks on patents and patent law. These materials by Donner, the two volume set plus the softcover digest and CD, are the best single source of information on prosecuting a patent (trying to get a patent approved) in the U.S. that I've ever come across. I bought it hoping it would help in a particular prosecution I was involved in, and sure enough, Donner delivered. Important book, along with...
Divorce is one of the most grueling experiences anyone can go through, and this book is a great guide for easing the challenges.The book is packed with information on the legal and emotional issues that are likely to arise -- and how to deal with them.The topics span the board, from making the initial decision, to preparing for trial, to how to talk with the kids about it all.
Very Informative, but deceptively biased
After reading many, many studies on the subject of divorce, support and custody, and also personally being a single father for 13 years with sole custody of 3 children and also being a non-custodial parent of one younger child I feel I can comment objectively on this book. Extensive Information
This book is filled with extensive information. With over 60% of the population getting divorced, this subject should no longer be taboo.

A stark and revealing insight into the banality of evil
Ably translated by Carol Scherer and edited by Karl Schleunes, Legislating The Holocaust: The Bernhard Loesener Memoirs And Supporting Documents is the direct, recorded testimony of Bernhard Loesener. This is the man who personally drafted much of the legislation that disenfranchised and dehumanized the Jews of Nazi Germany. A great practical well written book for all!
Out of all the books or articles i have read on divorce, this author really gets to the point when it comes to divorce & custody.I also wrote the author Ms . Dull and disappointing
I bought this book because I am an investor in REITS and wanted to get a deeper insight into comparing different REITs to find the best ones to invest in. I wanted to be able to read the balance sheets of several different REITs and decide which is the better investment. This book left me bored and no further forward.

The book provided an insightful overview of the REIT industry. The book was organized by various topics relating to investing and managing a REIT. The chapters were written by practioners and academics working in thedifferent REIT industry areas. The authors were able to provide vitalinsights into their areas of expertise. As a new REIT employee I learnedabout the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead for my company andthe REIT industry as a whole. some of the chapters were a bit technical innature; particularly the analysis on historical private verses public REITreturns. Fairly good - Not excellent
I just took a college level class in which we used this book as the textbook.There is a lot of good information inside which provides a good introduction to the novice on how the process of collective bargaining works.It begins with the history of how it started and continues through the specific issues that collective bargaining entails.There is even a copy of the National Labor Relations Act in the back of the book.
Great Book
Great book for the novice negotiator or student.Current, easy to read, practical examples.

Simple and straightforward - includes CD with forms!
This book (6th edition) has taken a BIG weight off of my mind regarding writing a will.My husband and I currently don't have a will (and apparently have lots of company - reportedly 60% of Americans don't have wills), but I am in the process of changing that with the reassuring help of this book.
Will writing is easy.
I bought this book mostly because I wanted my daughter in the right hands if something were to happen to both my husband and I.Peace of mind knowing that she will indeed end up with the people we select is worth a million and we didn't to have to spend much money to set this up.This book is great to have your wishes put down so everything is distributed how you want it.Much more convenient then going to a lawyer and saves you a lot of money.

If you are or want to become an independent film producer, this book will give you all of the business/legal knowledge of filmmaking you need.Even though I have not finished the book yet, I've already found this book to be extremely valuable.Because I am planning to produce a new film next year, I even called up Mr. Tulchin directly for legal advice.He was very friendly and took the time to give me great advices and was very knowledgeable in not just U.S. based entertainment law but also international entertainment law as well.Read this book and you will find it worth more than what you paid for!!!

The 'business' of 'show business' explained
One thing that isn't taught that much at film schools is how many contracts are generated and how much time you spend negotiating deals.Our first film is still in post-production (April 2003) and we already have a filing cabinet filled with contracts and paperwork. I wish this book had been available when we started production.The chapter on delivery requirements alone is worth every penny.In it you'll find out what a distributor will want along with your film.Don't forget the still photographer on the set and behind the scenes!Great and easy read, too. ...
